Changes come into effect on 13th June 2014 which alter how online businesses handle returns.
From 13th June customers will have 14 calendar days in which to notify an online retailer that they do not wish to keep a purchase and a further 14 calendar days from the point of notification to actually return the purchase to the retailer.
The retailer in turn must refund in full, including all outgoing postage costs, within 14 calendar days.
Retailers must also specify cleared in their returns process whether the customer or retailer is responsible for the return postage
